Moving On

Thanks for the article from Jermaine Haynes

My mom refuses to move in to any sort of assisted living facility, but I feel so uneasy about her being at home by herself without my dad. When dad passed away a year ago, my mom’s health started deteriorating. She can still do the things that she used to do, but now they are just done so much slower. For instance, taking a shower is now a 2 hour affair. She used to go on walks with her friends all of the time, but now says that her arthritis bothers her too much to partake. Because she refuses to get any sort of help, I at least went to WWW.HOME-ALARM-SYSTEMS.COM to make sure that we have an alarm system in place to make me feel a small bit less guilty about her being on her own. I would like to ask her to move in with us, but it would be really hard on my family to have her at our home. It would be so much easier if she could just accept the fact that she probably needs to be in assisted living! Any suggestions on how to talk your strong willed mom in to that one would be appreciated.
