My brother just moved into his first place and he is completely clueless. All our life he was the smart one. He would make the best grades in school and was president of all the clubs. However, last month I realized it was all book smart, but not life smart. He had no idea how to do anything. I had to help him set up all of his utilities. I even put down some of the deposits for him. I am not sure he would even have power to his house, if I didn’t schedule to have it hooked up for him. I tried to teach him how to do things and even showed him EXPERTsatellite.com, but I am not sure it made a difference. I have no doubt that he will be calling me soon for something. Not that I mind, because I don’t mind at all. I just find it funny that for years and years he was always the smart one. I always thought my parents thought he could go anywhere in life. Yet, I am helping him to do the simple things that everyone should be able to do on their own.
